I really hate being cold. Blood doesn’t flow properly through my poor old body and the circulation in my hands and feet goes to hell. I finally got smart in my office and moved the trusty old space heater underneath my desk, and to stop the cold air creeping through the logs I’ve jammed some foam down there.
Wow, why didn’t I do this before? The heat radiates up from below and envelopes me in a cocoon of warmth. I spend 99% of the time in my office sitting here at my desk, and it just makes sense.
Where was piper? You’d think she would be right there where it was warm. Curled up on that foam rubber. Looks warm.
You need some fur lined muck lucks…..or fur line booties LOL
We’re having these long brushing sessions now where she lays on my lap soaking up the heat while we watch Whispy together…
Those are slippers that Betty got me for my last birthday. Steph cut the heels off and they work great!
Skoge here: just don’t catch anything on fire or you’ll really be out in the cold… By the way, it is actually freezing here in Petaluma. Sad because I still have tomatoes on the vines and they are frozen!
