$16.99 plus $6.60 WA LIQUOR TAX plus $3.48 SALES TAX (20.50%) = $27.02.
I knew when flaming liberal Christine Gregoire became Governor in that corrupt race a few years back, that taxes were going up, but this is Insane!
The voters in Washington State passed Initiative 1183 which effectively ended the states monopoly on liquor. Beginning June 1 you could buy alcohol in a variety of stores and everyone was happy, until the state got it’s revenge…
