I realized this morning that I hadn’t run the new carb/header setup on my truck past 45mph so I took her out for a spin. Once we pulled out of Tetonia into the 65 zone I let her loose. She rapidly shot up to 3300 at 75mph and roared like a lion. Maybe I should get a muffler I thought briefly before quickly discarding the thought from my mind. This old girl runs! I pulled into Lookout Point, shut her off, and popped the hood. There was minimal heat and the clakety clack noise I used to hear as the emissions hardware cooled down was completely gone. I closed the hood, smiled broadly, then took this photo of the Teton River over it’s bank. Who cares about that…
