Begun Again

The Valentines Day spin has begun again and is racing full speed toward Saturday. Steph and I have a wonderful romantic event planned for this weekend, we’re driving to the Walmart in Rexburg where I’m going to buy her an electric blanket for her new full size bed that she’s currently enjoying in the spare bedroom.

I’m not sure if we’re going to do the card share here at Broulims or at Walmart. What’s that you ask? It’s a tradition that we’ve developed over the years where we each pick a sappy card off the rack, hand them to each other and then put them back once they’re read and we thank each other profusely for the sentiment.

This is also the first Valentine’s in a long time that no gifts were assembled for my kids. Steph offered but after getting maybe two kid’s thanking me for the Christmas $2 uncirculated bills I gave out, why bother…
