Jackson Barbeque

Steph picked up some more goodies from her generous boss at Suburban Propane today: free barbeque at the Snake River Sporting Club cooked up by the Hoback Firefighters Association. All we had to do was head over the dreaded Teton Pass this morning, swing by the Jackson office, and grab the tickets out of the mailbox. They were comp tickets because Suburban is their propane provider.

We decided to make a day out of it and stopped at the Jackson Farmers Market for a bit where I saw my buddy Sue selling pastries with her kids. We walked around, took some pictures, and then headed south to the event. It was a beautiful day here in the hole!

The barbeque was great but the best part was that for every ticket you got a $20 gift certificate at the local Hobart Market. We had three so we walked away with $60 good at the market. Guess where we went after eating lunch?

I took the long way home past Palisades Dam so we had to stop and get some styrofoam coolers and ice to keep our perishables cold, but everything worked out nicely…
