We’ve all heard those great stories about pets becoming separated from their owners and despite all odds and great distances, manage to make it home again.
That happened with us this morning as Piper walked out to the edge of the driveway in the blowing snow and bitter cold. We were afraid we had lost her forever! Yet thanks to her instincts and an amazing sense of direction, she managed to make it back home.
Then she went around the corner to get in the front door, which is snowed in. I guess she forgot. Sigh…
Thank god she’s home!
