Finally, it’s open! The Teton Geotourism Center had a great crowd in Driggs today as they opened their doors to the public. This project has been underway since we moved here 9 years ago and has been sadly floundering. They had the grants but no vision or management.
This is actually a really big deal for our town. It’s being touted as the first of it’s kind in the country. There was even a bigshot from National Geographic that gave a speech today complimenting everything.
The crowds grew impressively, some famous opera singer sang something and then the dancers started Celebrating. Check out the photos by clicking the picture below and then watch the dancing video.
