Front Porch

We don’t have much company these days. I’ve invited the neighbors over but they say they can’t get in the front door. I know we have some issues with the porch but come on, what’s a little snow?

Blanket Head

There’s nothing like hanging out on a Saturday afternoon in red pajamas with a blanket wrapped around your head and a fat cat on your lap…

Office Ice

This is the backside of our house, my office to the left, Steph’s craft room to the right. A place hidden from the sun and left to cultivate some pretty powerful ice art.

I wasn’t aware that an ice cycle had formed from the roof to the ground until Steph pointed it out. I opened my blinds for the first time in months (hey, snow is snow) and realized that a photo was crying out to be shared!

btw: as of this posting the second ice-cycle has reached the ground…

Packsaddle Morning

All of my regular customers bailed on me today so dispatch offered up an inter-city run down to Rexburg and back. It took me out onto Packsaddle road this morning, one of the oldest roads in the valley, with a lot of history.

The drive-ability of this road depends on whether you can see the yellow line through the snow crust. Today, not so much. The reason this is important is because there are deep bear trap ditches on both sides and oncoming vehicles are always playing chicken with you for control of the center of the road!
