On February 1, a seismometer inside a borehole at Yellowstone National Park started going crazy. I’m a pretty connected guy and I didn’t find out about it until yesterday, which indicates to me that the government powers that be didn’t want us to know about it. Well, it’s all over the place now.
I’ve grabbed a couple of shots showing the activity, for us all to make our own conclusions. Needless to say, Yellowstone blowing up would not be a good thing.
Especially since the borehole is only 53 miles from our little town…
Update: Now it’s all over the Internet that it was an equipment malfunction.
Who knows?
Looks like a lot of action on the Madison River station
What are they boring for? To relieve pressure some where or what? Sure sounds scary.
